The case study analyzes the causes of high research and innovative achievemnts of Department of Cybernetics at Czech Technical University in Prague. The department is respected Centre of Excellence in European research. The reason of research and innovative excellence of the Department is especially a high level of strategic management that is able to combine research and business culture, competitiveness and co-operation. An elaborated system of motivation and evaluation attracts young gifted people for the research activitiy.

Případová studie analyzuje příčiny výzkumných a inovačních úspěchů katedry kybernetiky elektrotechnické fakulty ČVUT. Katedra je uznávaným centrem excelence evropského výzkumu. Příčinou výzkumné a inovační excelence katedry je především velmi dobré strategické řízení vedení katedry, jež je schopno kombinovat vědeckou a podnikatelskou kulturu, soutěživost a spolupráci. Propracovaný motivační a evaluační systém je s to získávat pro výzkum mladé lidi.
