Stat'ja posvjaščajetsja novoj expoziciji vizantijskogo iskusstva v Gosudarstvennom Ermitaže, obladajučšem cennym sobranijem. Avtor rasskazyvajet ob istoriji nekotorych pamjatnikov, o naučnych ekspedicijach russkich učenych, o priobreteniji cennych ikon i inych predmetov i ob ich izučeniji.

The Article is devoted to a new exposition of Byzantine Art in the State Hermitage, which has a valuable collection of Byzantine monuments. The Author gives an account of histories of ones of interesting monuments, of scientific expeditions of Russian researchers, of purchasing of valuable icons which will be investigated further.
