Cette contribution s’occupe de l’oeuvre historique du bénédictin allemand Magnoald Ziegelbauer sur l’histoire et l’historiographie du royaume de Bohême. Elle tente ďapporter une réponse à deux questions: Pourquoi Ziegelbauer se consacra-t-il à l’historiographie des pays tchèques et quel regard portait-il sur ses auteurs? Enfin, elle s’essaie à constater pourquoi ses travaux n’étaient pas publiés.

The contribution deals with the historical writing of German Benedictine Magnoald Ziegelbauer about the history and historiography of the Kingdom of Bohemia. It aims to answer to two questions: Why was Ziegelbauer interested in the historiography of the Czech lands and what was his opinion of its authors? Finally, the contribution aims to ascertain the cause why Ziegelbauer did not publish his works in his lifetime.
